What is the Superior Court of California?

The San Diego County portion of the Superior Court of California works to serve the people of the county in criminal cases, including felonies, misdemeanors, every type of civil case, family law, spousal and child support, juvenile law, mental health, and small claims.

You can find cases on the website by going to the search bar provided. You will need to know the name of the person that the case is for OR the case number that was provided. You can also use the District Attorney case number if you have it. Juvenile cases and misdemeanor cases are not included in this search function.

E-file

It is possible to e-file civil court case papers. This is being done in hopes of creating a paperless process going forward for civil case and other cases in the future.

You can make payment for traffic tickets online on the website by clicking the make payments button. You can also find alternative payment methods on the site as well.
